She is a graduate of Lucknow University and holds an important position among classical Urdu language novelists. Quratul Ain Passed her Master of Arts in Urdu from Lucknow University. She started her writing career during her education.
Her novel Aag Ka Darya is very popular in Pakistan and India. The Government of India has awarded him the Padma Bhushan Award in recognition of his literary services. Apart from the Urdu language, she also had a degree in English literature. His books written in English along with the Urdu language are very popular.
