Author’s Introduction:
Hakeem Ghulam Jilani Khan was a famous physician and teacher in the field of medicine in India. He served as a teacher at the Medical College of Delhi for many years. He believed in research in medicine and did not hesitate to do clinical experiments.
Apart from the indigenous methods of treatment, he had perfect expertise in homeopathic treatment. Ghulam Jilani Khan received his initial education in Delhi City and later studied medicine at Delhi Medical College.
He was a very intelligent and capable person. That’s why he was recruited as a teacher in the college after completing his medical education. Mr. Allama Sir Muhammad Iqbal and Hakeem Ajmal Khan were among the friends and acquaintances of Hakeem Ghulam Jilani Khan.
Hakeem Ghulam Jilani Khan:
Allama Iqbal approached him several times for treatment. He consulted many of his students and his daughter to write the book Makhzan Hikmat. He wrote the prescriptions for Greek medicine in the book himself and got help from many of his students.
His daughter wrote medical prescriptions for allopathic and arranged them. His daughter was an MBBS doctor and was one of the leading gynecologists in Delhi.
