The story of the novel begins with some Arab Muslim businessmen and tourists from Iraq traveling with their wives and children on a ship to Sri Lanka. When this ship passed the coast of Sindh, it was the pirates attacked. The pirates captured all the ship’s crew, women, and children and made them prisoners.

They killed all the men, but one merchant managed to escape with his life. The pirates raped the captive women and subjected them to a lot of torture. The merchant who survived returned to Iraq and appealed to Governor Hajjaj bin Yusuf’s court to free the oppressed women and children from the pirates’ captivity.

Hajjaj bin Yusuf was shocked to learn about this incident. He immediately sent a diplomatic delegation to Raja Dahir of Sindh for the release of the prisoners. Hajjaj bin Yusuf asked Raja Dahir to release the prisoners from the pirates and punish them.

Muhammad Bin Qasim Novel by Naseem Hijazi Pdf:

Raja Dahir of Sindh flatly refused to help the pirates to release the prisoners and to arrest and punish the pirates. Hajjaj bin Yusuf was enraged and sent his nephew Muhammad bin Qasim to attack Sindh with a large army.

Seventeen-year-old Muhammad Bin Qasim proved to be a powerful and resourceful commander. He reached Sindh and besieged Raja Dahar’s capital Dibal and started pelting stones at the city with slingshots. After a few days of siege, Muhammad bin Qasim’s forces attacked and captured the city.

During the war, Raja Dahir was killed in clashes with the forces of Muhammad bin Qasim. Muhammad bin Qasim defeated the forces of Raja Dahir and captured Sindh. He founded the first Islamic government in Sindh.

After that, he went to Lahore for higher education. He obtained BA and MA in history from Punjab University, Lahore. Naseem started his writing career in his student days. He was very interested in historical novels.

For historical novel writing, he studied the books of ancient historical novelists of Urdu literature.
