Introduction of the Novel:
Qasas al-Anbiya is a unique book written about the life conditions of the Prophets. This book is written by renowned Islamic scholar, Qur’an commentator, and historian Imam Ibn Kathir. This book is in Arabic language and has been translated into Urdu, and Persian. The book under comment is an Urdu translation of the work written by Imam Ibn Kathir.
In this book, the distinguished author has recorded the situations of all the popular prophets from Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) to the Holy Prophet. Llama Ibn Katheer has taken authentic incidents from the holy Quran in addition to other heavenly books, Torah, Psalms, and Injil to write the life conditions of the prophets.
To write the life conditions of the messengers and prophets mentioned in the Quran Allama Ibn Kathir has used various interpretations of the Qur’an. In particular, he has recorded authentic passages from the famous Qur’an commentator Allama Ibn Jarir al-Tabari’s Tarikh al-Tabari and Tafsir al-Tabari books.
