The story of this novel has two main characters named Elma Ali and Ramesh Hasan. Elma Ali is a beautiful young girl who belongs to a middle-class family. Her family is a conservative family with ancient family traditions. Ramesh Hasan is a decent young man who has graduated from foreign universities. He wants to do business by building his own IT Company in the future.
His father is a big businessman who has a vast business in the textile and pharmaceutical industries. He wants to bring his son also in the business field. Ramesh Hasan is very much in love with Elma Ali and in any case to marry her. He talks to Elma Ali’s parents about marrying him. They are willing to marry their daughter to him.

Maha Malik is a famous Pakistani lady novelist of the Urdu language. Maha started her career while studying. She was a BA student when she wrote her first Urdu novel. Earlier she used to write novels for Khawateen Digest.
Now she is working as a novelist for almost all the important Pakistani Urdu digests. She has written many novels related to women’s issues due to which women like her novels very much. Apart from writing novels in Urdu, Maha Malik also writes plays for various Pakistani TV channels.
These TV channels include Jeo, ARY, and Hum TV. She has written dozens of TV dramas so far. Maha has also received Lux Award, and Hum TV Award for best performance. Apart from his work as a dramatist, he is also an excellent screenwriter.
